[random] posh is major
I was so tired today, it was out of control. I didn't even go tan tonight because after running errands, I just needed to sleep for about an hour and a half.

I'm beginning the process of looking for an updo for my bridesmaiding next Friday. If worse comes to worse, I might just head up to Borders on Sunday (after HBP craziness has died down somewhat) and look through a bunch of hairstyle and wedding magazines. I know what I want, I just need to find a really good picture. Whenever I had an updo for prom in high school, it was always okay but I think I probably looked vaguely like an old lady.

Speaking of HBP, I'm muy excited. I'm getting the book from Amazon at some point on Saturday (I got it at about 8:30 a.m. when OotP came out) and I will spend the day reading. I have a family wedding to attend Saturday night, and if I'm not finished with the book at that point, I will haul out the big Coach bag - regardless of matching - and take the book with me. I wish I had an excuse to wear the hella awesome Chudley Cannons shirt I made when OotP came out.

Switching gears, I love the fug blog like none other. The Britney Spears and Kevin Federline letters are especially my favorites. The newest K-Fed letter is hilarious. Even without the letter it still would have been hilarious, because he's wearing FLIP FLOPS WITH SOCKS.

Other than all this, I don't know that I have anything else to say. Nothing terribly interesting has been going on lately - it's just been work, then come home and putz around watching television and occasionally running an errand or two.

It's taken me since Monday night to watch the live action Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs. Maybe I should go finish that.

ETA: I totally forgot!! I was watching the All-Star game last night and Fox was showing a preview for some stupid new show of theirs and I wasn't paying attention. Then a preview for another new fall show came on and I did a double take, and sure enough it was for the new DAVID FREAKING BOREANAZ show, called Bones. It looks really dumb but oh, I will watch without even a moment of hesitation. His acting was good in the preview, too. So yeah, I was really excited for that.

ETA2: I'm not gonna lie, I'm also going to watch Kitchen Confidential starring Bradley Cooper (who I lo-ove) and Nicholas Brendon (so glad to see him getting work!)

Okay, no joke, my roommate freshman year of college wore flip-flops with socks. Sometimes she wore them with toe socks, which, while still heinous, is slightly more acceptable - but mostly she looked just like K-Fed from October to December, when she finally decided to wear real shoes because it got too cold. My argument was always "If it's cold enough to wear a COAT, wear real shoes, dumbass!"

Needless to say, that wasn't the happiest of roommate matches. The Ninja Turtle Toes were just one aspect of the dysfunction. (And yeah, we did call her Ninja Turtle Toes behind her back. That was a little rude, I guess.)

My question is, why bother with the socks at all? I wear flip flops almost until it snows, but never with socks. It just looks totally heinous.

I just figure if I'm going to be lazy enough to wear flip flops, then I guess my feet will have to freeze. It's sort of like a fashion penance :-P

Oh yeah, I totally rock the flip-flops, too. But I usually switch to tennis shoes when it gets chilly, because I'm a wimp. :)

Oh, I was also going to say that I happened to get my hands on an advance copy of the Kitchen Confidential pilot and it's hilarious. Bradley Cooper is just...no words. So I'll definitely be watching come fall. Will and Xander on the same show, how is this a bad plan?
